What the fuck am I reading.
None of this makes sense.
Not from a historical or a political standpoint. From the notion that 14 countries (some of which were colonialized by belgium, not france) aren't clamoring for actual independence if 85% of their reserves went missing, to the ungoogleability to literally any aspect of this, especially noteworthy the ominous "colonial pact" which seems to be the crux accompanied by some stressors like the french treasury, CFA reserves et al. you'd think someone beyond african blogposts would have made noise about, but no, these are the only sources. Neocolonialism, apparently too taboo for the history books, even the francafrique investigation.

I can't be the only one that sees a giant red flag over [citation needed], can I

>Under something called “Defense Agreements” attached to the Colonial Pact
>Colonial Pact

"In fact, during the last 50 years, a total of 67 coups happened in 26 countries in Africa, 16 of those countries are french ex-colonies, which means 61% of the coups happened in Francophone Africa."

Yeah watch out for that 61% probability, francophone regimes, it's not like you're almost 100% guaranteed to be couped because you're an african party leader

How did you take any of this seriously
holy shit
This is reparashuns 2.0, someone pulled literally all of this out of their ass
even the french president quote can't be found
you can found it but it was said in 2011 by a totally different president

THE colonial pact
yeah, that one
colonial pact
you know which one I mean, come on
there is only one of it and it has clearly defined terms and stipulations which african bloggers are privvy on.. but if you ask for sources, it's probably a secret again. It's all hush-hush.

Pure logic from the fucking logic lords right there
